LCC Council have initiated plans which will have a dramatic and detrimental effect on the aesthetics, biodiversity and use of the fields,  beginning with the removal of up to 20 mature trees a result of poor maintenance. All of this is without proper consultation with the community.

I request that any proposed works or changes to the Killeaton Fields are ceased. That the council are held accountable to an excellent standard of maintenance. That the Killeaton Fields remain as they have been with no set use and with multiple free use for all. That a long term plan is created and the local community are fully consulted with and represented more effectively in the decision-making within the appropriate Council Committee.
